A Porsche with a prestigious history, including racing in the 1970 Le Mans and appearing in Steve McQueen’s ‘Le Mans’, is set to be a highlight at an exclusive Porsche-only auction. This auction, organized by Broad Arrow Auctions in partnership with the inaugural Air|Water event, promises to be a gathering like no other for Porsche enthusiasts. The 1969 Porsche 908/02 Langheck Flunder Spyder, estimated to fetch between $4,750,000 and $5,750,000, has an illustrious track record, having been driven by Porsche legends and securing significant victories and performances across various key World Championship events.

The event, conceived by Luftgekühlt founder Patrick Long, aims to celebrate the Porsche community’s spirit and the marque’s diverse heritage, encompassing both air-cooled and water-cooled models. Scheduled for April 27th in Costa Mesa, California, Air|Water will feature an array of Porsches from different eras, enhancing the camaraderie among Porsche aficionados.
