Finished in its original Cosmos Black Metallic, the car was meticulously repainted after being outfitted with a Pandem widebody kit that includes expansive fender flares, revamped side skirts, bumpers, and a rear lip spoiler. Enhancements such as M-Technic mirrors, window tint, and windshield protection film augment its sophisticated appearance. Despite its age, the vehicle maintains a fresh look, though a report noted minor rear damage in 2013 and an intermittent issue with the driver’s side headlight.

Underneath the hood lies a powerful 5.4L V12 engine, paired with a five-speed automatic transmission. Recent upgrades include a high-performance Supersprint exhaust system with headers and an x-pipe, installed in 2022. The engine underwent significant servicing in 2021, addressing essential components like valve cover gaskets, intake manifold gaskets, and spark plugs, with further updates in 2023 including the cylinder head gaskets and coolant reservoir cap.

The BMW’s stance is enhanced by bronze-finished 19″ BC Forged MLE10 wheels wrapped in Toyo Proxes R888R tires. It also features advanced Brembo brakes with GTS two-piece rotors and a modern Grinds Air Ride Management system with dual air tanks housed in the trunk.

Inside, the cabin echoes the exterior’s blend of classic and contemporary, featuring retrimmed red leather seats, two-tone door panels, and updated audio including a Kicker equalizer and subwoofer. An M-Sport steering wheel and pedals add to the driving experience, although the air conditioning system requires attention to improve its cooling efficiency.

This BMW 850Ci is a testament to the allure of blending classic car profiles with contemporary enhancements. It stands as a remarkable example of what can be achieved with vision and investment, promising to turn heads whether on the road or as a collector’s showpiece.
