2003 Lamborghini Murciélago V-12 Manual Up for Auction With Just 9,000 Miles

One of the last Lamborghini V-12 models equipped with a manual transmission is now available to bidders as a 2003 Murciélago goes up for auction on Bring a Trailer. With just 9,000 miles on the odometer and a factory six-speed gated shifter, this rare example is drawing attention from collectors and purists alike.

Finished in Nero Pegaso over a Nero Perseus leather interior, the supercar hails from the first generation of the Murciélago line (2002–2006). This model marks a turning point in Lamborghini’s history as the brand began its gradual transition away from manual transmissions in favor of automated gearboxes. The Murciélago was Lamborghini’s last V-12 flagship offered with a manual before the model was phased out in 2010.

Under the hood lies a naturally aspirated 6.2-liter V-12 engine, which, when new, delivered 572 horsepower and 479 lb-ft of torque. Power is routed through the rare six-speed manual transmission to all four wheels, launching the car from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.8 seconds with a top speed of 206 mph. Performance is further enhanced with sport catalytic converters and a titanium exhaust system from Boden Auto Haus.

Adding to its appeal, the car rides on 18-inch Speedline multi-piece wheels and also includes a spare set of Hemera alloy rims. Classic Lamborghini scissor doors open to a snug but well-finished cabin featuring a CD stereo, climate control, and the unmistakable gated shifter—an icon of analog supercar engineering.

With the manual V-12 era now firmly in the rearview mirror, this Murciélago offers a rare opportunity for collectors and enthusiasts to experience Lamborghini’s raw, pre-dual-clutch legacy. Bidding remains active on Bring a Trailer, where the vehicle is expected to command a strong final price.
