One of the most celebrated modern Ferrari hypercars—the 2014 Ferrari LaFerrari—is set to cross the auction block at Mecum’s Indy 2025 sale on Saturday, May 17. With just 4,390 miles on the odometer, this limited-production hybrid V-12 coupe stands among the most coveted collector cars of the 21st century.

Finished in a striking BIC2 Rosso Red and Nero two-tone livery, this LaFerrari blends exotic design, Formula 1-derived engineering, and raw performance into a road-going work of art. It is Lot S150, one of the top attractions from The Triple F Collection, and comes with both keys and removable badging.

Under the sculpted carbon fiber bodywork lies a 6.3-liter V-12 engine paired with Ferrari’s HY-KERS hybrid system, collectively delivering 949 horsepower. Power is sent through a 7-speed dual-clutch F1 gearbox, helping launch the car from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.4 seconds, with a top speed rated at 217 mph.
Launched in 2013 and built through 2016, the LaFerrari represented Ferrari’s most ambitious performance project at the time. It was the first road car from the brand to be equipped with a hybrid powertrain, using an energy recovery system inspired by Ferrari’s Formula 1 technology. Only 500 coupes were produced worldwide, making it an exceptionally rare offering on the open market.

This particular example features optional carbon fiber trim, Brembo carbon ceramic brakes with red calipers, Scuderia shields, and magnetorheological suspension for precision handling. Inside, the cabin mirrors the exterior color scheme with Rosso and Nero two-tone upholstery, carbon fiber dash accents, and a reconfigurable digital display.

Widely regarded as the spiritual successor to the Enzo, the LaFerrari is celebrated for blending future-focused hybrid engineering with Ferrari’s rich motorsport legacy. With its ultra-low mileage, rare spec, and exceptional provenance, this 2014 example offers a once-in-a-generation opportunity for serious collectors and Ferrari enthusiasts.
