The 2022 Countach LPI 800-4 is a modern reimagining of Lamborghini’s iconic 1974 Countach, a car that revolutionized supercar design. This new iteration pays homage to its predecessor by blending retro design cues, such as the distinctive hexagonal wheel arches and scissor doors, with cutting-edge technology. The car was launched to mark the 50th anniversary of the original Countach, and Lamborghini has made sure to retain its timeless, striking silhouette while incorporating 21st-century advancements.

Under the hood, the LPI 800-4 combines Lamborghini’s famed 6.5-liter V12 engine with a 48-volt electric motor, generating a combined 802 horsepower. Unlike traditional hybrids, the LPI 800-4 uses a supercapacitor to provide instant power and smooth acceleration. The vehicle can hit extraordinary performance benchmarks, while still delivering the luxury and drivability expected from such an exclusive supercar.

This particular Countach was originally sold in Germany and has barely seen the road, with just 110 kilometers (69 miles) on the odometer. It remains in pristine condition, reflecting its status as a near-new car. The Luci del Bosco exterior paired with the rare Bianco Leda interior, matte bronze wheels, and subtle carbon fiber accents give the car a sophisticated and elegant aesthetic, distinguishing it from Lamborghini’s typically bold and vibrant designs.

The sale of this 2022 Lamborghini Countach for $2.5 million underscores the model’s desirability and cements its status as a future classic, a perfect blend of Lamborghini’s legacy and forward-thinking innovation.
