Bentley Motors has officially unveiled the 2025 Bentayga Speed, marking it as the most powerful iteration of the luxury SUV to date. Replacing its W12 predecessor, the new Speed model is powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine that produces 650 horsepower and 627 lb-ft of torque between 2,250 and 4,500 rpm.
Thanks to the increased output, the new Bentayga Speed accelerates from 0 to 62 mph in just 3.4 seconds, with a top speed of 193 mph, making it the fastest SUV Bentley has ever built. Notably, this V8-powered version surpasses the performance metrics of the outgoing W12 variant, which had long been a hallmark of the Bentayga lineup.
To complement the increased power, Bentley has introduced a host of performance-focused enhancements. A new Sport chassis mode and ESC Dynamic setting promise sharper handling and more responsive cornering behavior. The suspension has been recalibrated with a 15% stiffer damping setup, providing better body control and steering feel. The Speed model also comes standard with all-wheel steering for improved agility at both high and low speeds.
The standard sports exhaust system is designed to deliver a more pronounced engine note, while an optional Titanium Akrapovič system is available for buyers seeking an even more aggressive sound and weight savings.
Visually, the 2025 Bentayga Speed features dark-tinted headlights and taillights, Speed badging, and new 22-inch alloy wheels. For the first time, Bentley is offering optional 23-inch wheels when paired with carbon ceramic brakes. A contrasting black roof in gloss or satin finish adds a striking touch to the SUV’s exterior design.
Bentley has not yet released pricing, but the new Bentayga Speed is expected to command a premium over the standard V8 models when it reaches showrooms later this year.
