A promotion offering a chance to win a low-mileage 2006 Ford GT or $250,000 in cash is approaching its next deadline, with organizers extending a 40% bonus entry period that ends Feb. 22 after an earlier Feb. 14 promotion window.
The giveaway centers on a one-owner 2006 Ford GT showing just 235 miles since new. The car is one of 190 examples produced in Midnight Blue with painted white stripes over an Ebony leather interior for the model year, making it a rare configuration among the limited-production supercars.

Power comes from a supercharged 5.4-liter V8 paired with a six-speed manual gearbox and a helical limited-slip differential. The mid-mounted engine delivers 550 horsepower and 500 lb-ft of torque, supported by a Lysholm screw-type supercharger and dry-sump lubrication system. The drivetrain is matched with a Ricardo six-speed manual transaxle and dual center-exit exhaust system.
The Ford GT draws heavily from the design and engineering of the 1960s GT40 race cars, incorporating an extruded-aluminum space frame, roll-bonded floors, and aluminum body panels. Exterior features include HID headlights, fog lights, side air intakes, a vented hood, a front splitter, and an aggressive rear diffuser.

This example is equipped with forged aluminum BBS wheels measuring 18 inches in front and 19 inches in the rear, along with red-painted four-piston Brembo brakes with cross-drilled and ventilated rotors. The interior features Sparco seats with carbon-fiber shells and GT40-style ventilation grommets, a McIntosh CD stereo system, and air conditioning.

Participants can enter through tiered donation levels that correspond with varying entry totals, though no donation is required to participate under the official rules. Organizers are also offering a $250,000 cash alternative to the vehicle.
With its low mileage, single-owner history, and distinctive factory specification, the Ford GT remains a highly desirable modern supercar. The current promotion highlights the continued appeal of the model among collectors and enthusiasts as the entry window moves toward the Feb. 22 deadline.
