Lamborghini’s latest hybrid supercar, the Revuelto, will feature a cutting-edge Sonus faber audio system, the companies announced today. This collaboration between Lamborghini and Sonus faber, a renowned Italian loudspeaker manufacturer, promises to deliver an unmatched auditory experience for the Revuelto’s occupants. Priced at over $600,000, the Revuelto will be available for preorder this month, with the Sonus faber system as a customizable option.
Sonus faber, known for its impeccable loudspeaker designs, has been a staple in the high-end audio market for over 40 years. Their foray into the automotive sector includes partnerships with luxury brands such as Maserati and Pagani. The Revuelto marks their latest venture, incorporating a bespoke audio system tailored to the car’s unique cabin acoustics and high-performance environment.
The Revuelto’s Sonus faber system features seven strategically placed speakers, including a center channel speaker on the dashboard and full-range drivers behind the seats. This setup creates an immersive soundstage, enveloping the driver and passenger in high-fidelity audio. The system also includes a new Full Class D amplifier delivering up to 750 watts, ensuring powerful and clear sound even against the roar of the Revuelto’s V12 engine.
“The collaboration with Lamborghini is a significant milestone for Sonus faber,” said Fiore Cappelletto, Vice President and General Manager Automotive at McIntosh Group, Sonus faber’s parent company. “Working on the Revuelto has been exhilarating, and we hope to transfer our passion for natural sound to every customer.”
The Lamborghini Revuelto itself is a marvel of engineering, combining a 6.5-liter V12 engine with three electric motors to produce a total of 1015 horsepower. This hybrid setup allows the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds and reach a top speed of 350 km/h. The Revuelto also features a new carbon-fiber monofuselage chassis, enhancing its strength and reducing weight.
The Revuelto’s design reflects Lamborghini’s commitment to customization, with numerous personalization options available through the Ad Personam program. Customers can choose from various interior and exterior colors, trims, and materials to create a unique vehicle that matches their preferences.
Christian Mastro, Marketing Director of Automobili Lamborghini, highlighted the synergy between the two brands. “The Lamborghini Revuelto epitomizes the all-encompassing physical and emotive sensations of a super sports car, and the inclusion of the Sonus faber audio system complements this experience,” Mastro said.
As the first Lamborghini model to offer the Sonus faber system, the Revuelto represents a fusion of high-performance automotive engineering and superior audio technology. This partnership ensures that every drive in the Revuelto will be as aurally exhilarating as it is visually and physically thrilling.
