A heavily customized 1965 Chevrolet Corvette convertible, blending vintage style with modern engineering, is scheduled to hit the auction block in Arizona this month — and it will sell with no reserve.

The car underwent a full restomod in 2024, built on a Street Shop chassis with Art Morrison frame rails and C7 Corvette-style suspension. Power comes from a 6.2-liter LS3 V8 crate engine producing a factory-rated 540 horsepower. It’s paired with a GM Performance 4L70E four-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential.

Finished in metallic blue with silver stripes and a white Stayfast convertible top, the Corvette retains much of its original mid-‘60s charm while incorporating a host of performance and comfort upgrades. The flip-up headlights now operate via Detroit Speed electric motors, while capped wiper studs and split chrome bumpers add to the clean, vintage-inspired aesthetic.
Underneath, the car rides on QA1 adjustable coilovers, six- and four-piston disc brakes, and 19-inch Schott wheels wrapped in Falken Azenis tires. A custom-finished silver frame and E-Stopp electronic parking brake further modernize the underpinnings.

The handcrafted interior, completed by Jays Hot Rod Upholstery in Minnesota, features cream leather bucket seats, square-weave carpeting, and custom door panels. A carbon-style dash insert houses Classic Instruments gauges, while amenities include Vintage Air climate control, power windows and locks, and a RetroSound stereo with Bluetooth.
Only 157 miles have been logged since the build’s completion, according to the seller. The car will be offered with a clean Arizona title, two sets of keys, and documentation of the build.

For collectors seeking a no-compromise blend of classic Corvette looks and high-performance capability, this restomod represents a unique opportunity — and with no reserve, it’s guaranteed to find a new home. See it here.
