A trio of high-profile automotive leaders has launched an ambitious effort to build what they describe as the world’s first ground-up, all-terrain hypercar. The new vehicle, expected to debut in 2026, targets a segment that has yet to exist: a luxury, multimillion-dollar machine designed to match traditional hypercar performance while handling rugged landscapes far beyond paved roads.
The company behind the project, Hameedi Venturo, combines the expertise of former Ford Performance Chief Engineer Jamal Hameedi, automotive luxury executive Dr. Andreas Baenziger, and veteran engineer Maximilian Szwaj. Their collective résumé spans celebrated performance models such as the Ford GT, Ford Focus RS, Land Rover Defender OCTA, Ferrari LaFerrari and other high-end sports cars and SUVs.
Hameedi’s background in both supercars and off-road development forms the philosophical core of the new vehicle. Unlike recent off-road-themed performance cars that adapt road-car platforms with lifted suspensions and rugged tires, the Hameedi Venturo project aims to engineer a hypercar from the outset for extreme versatility. The startup positions the model as capable of delivering top-tier on-road dynamics while maintaining true off-pavement capability and long-distance comfort.
Although the team remains guarded about the vehicle’s specifics, early details suggest it will be produced in very limited numbers and priced around $2 million. Powertrain information has not been released, but expectations point toward a hybrid system producing between 1,000 and 1,500 horsepower, paired with a body focused on aerodynamic efficiency.
The startup describes its mission as creating a machine that merges high-performance engineering with go-anywhere utility. With the leadership involved—each with a track record of influencing some of the industry’s most respected performance models—the project has drawn early attention despite the absence of technical disclosures or design previews.
Hameedi Venturo plans to reveal the finished hypercar in 2026, signaling what could become a new category for buyers seeking both speed and exploration in a single ultra-exclusive package.
