Bugatti Bolide Headed to Paris Auction With Estimate Up to $7 Million

A Bugatti Bolide, one of the most extreme and exclusive cars ever produced by the French marque, is scheduled to be offered for sale at an upcoming Paris auction conducted by RM Sotheby’s. The sale is expected to take place next month in Paris, presenting collectors with an uncommon chance to acquire one of the rarest modern Bugattis.

The Bolide is limited to just 40 examples worldwide, and opportunities to purchase one have been scarce since production began. RM Sotheby’s estimates the car could sell for between $4.7 million and $7 million, reflecting both its rarity and its uncompromising engineering focus.

The example heading to auction is virtually unused, showing only 70 miles on the odometer. It is finished in a turquoise carbon exterior, complemented by black carbon fiber along the lower body. Additional exterior details include French flag accents on the turning vanes positioned behind the front wheels and a Blanc-colored central air intake, underscoring the car’s distinctive design.

Inside, the Bolide features an interior trimmed in Beluga Black Alcantara with matching stitching throughout. The racing bucket seats carry Bolide logos embroidered in Gris Rafale on the headrests. The car is offered with two Bugatti flight cases containing a technical manual, car cover, tool bag with gloves, battery conditioner, and a spare set of wheels, reflecting the model’s track-focused purpose.

The Bugatti Bolide is built around a bespoke carbon fiber chassis developed to comply with LMh and LMDh regulations and engineered to meet safety standards established by the FIA. Its mechanical centerpiece is an 8.0-liter W16 engine producing 1,825 horsepower and 1,475 pound-feet of torque.

With a dry weight of just 1,450 kilograms, the Bolide delivers a power-to-weight ratio exceeding 1,100 horsepower per tonne, placing it among the most extreme performance vehicles ever constructed.

As one of only 40 examples worldwide and with minimal use, the Bolide’s appearance at auction represents a rare moment for collectors seeking the pinnacle of modern hypercar engineering.
