Adrian Portelli, the Australian billionaire renowned for crane-lifting his $3 million McLaren Senna GTR into his 57th-floor Melbourne penthouse, has now acquired another rare automotive masterpiece: a Koenigsegg Jesko Attack. With a price tag of $3.5 million and a spec sheet designed to shatter records, the Jesko Attack is one of the most extreme hypercars ever built.
Portelli’s Jesko Attack is far from ordinary—if any of the 125 planned units could be considered as such. His bespoke hypercar features Koenigsegg Naked Carbon (KNC), a finish so exclusive and intricate that only three cars had received it as of 2023. This $443,000 option involves sanding the carbon fiber by hand to expose the weave, shaving off up to 44 pounds in the process. Accentuated with gold leaf detailing and configured as a right-hand drive, Portelli’s Jesko is a visual and engineering masterpiece.
The Jesko Attack boasts a 5.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine capable of delivering an astounding 1,600 horsepower. Built for the track, it holds world records in acceleration and braking performance, smashing 0-250mph, 0-250-0mph, 0-400km/h, and 0-400-0km/h benchmarks.
While the Jesko is undeniably a track-focused beast, many wonder if Portelli will ever put it to the test. His McLaren Senna GTR, another track-exclusive machine, has been relegated to serving as an art piece in his penthouse. Could the Jesko Attack suffer the same fate as a stationary sculpture?
For enthusiasts, the idea of leaving such a capable machine unused feels like a tragedy. The Jesko Attack is a hypercar meant to dominate circuits, and fans can only hope Portelli allows it to showcase its extraordinary abilities before it potentially takes its place as a luxurious centerpiece in his home.
