Barrett-Jackson delivered another spectacular auction at the 2024 Scottsdale Fall Auction, with total sales surpassing $56.6 million. The four-day event, held from October 10-13, featured 794 collectible vehicles that generated over $55 million, achieving a 99.9 percent sell-through rate. The sale of 429 automobilia items added an additional $1.6 million to the total, reinforcing the growing popularity of collector car memorabilia.
A highlight of the auction was the sale of rock legend Sammy Hagar’s 2015 Ferrari LaFerrari (Lot #760), which fetched $4.675 million, setting a new world auction record for a 2015 Ferrari LaFerrari. The atmosphere was electric as Hagar, known as the “Red Rocker,” took the stage with his iconic hit “I Can’t Drive 55” playing in the background.
Charity also took center stage with two notable sales: the first retail production Cadillac Escalade IQ (Lot #3001) and a 2024 Ford Mustang Dark Horse (Lot #3000), raising a combined $1.25 million for charity.
The top 10 vehicle sales included a 2019 Ford GT for $880,000, a 2022 Ferrari SF90 Stradale Assetto Fiorano for $599,500, and a 1962 Chevrolet Corvette Custom Roadster that sold for $550,000.
Barrett-Jackson’s chairman and CEO, Craig Jackson, expressed excitement over the event’s success, noting that it has set a high bar for their upcoming January auction, expected to bring even more energy to the collector car community.
