Bentley and Hedley Studios Approve Limited Production of Electric Blower Jnr

Bentley Motors has officially approved the limited production of the Blower Jnr, a scaled-down, fully electric homage to the legendary 1929 Bentley Blower. Developed in partnership with UK-based Hedley Studios, the Blower Jnr blends early 20th-century racing heritage with modern electric technology in a package designed for urban roads and collectors alike.

The announcement follows the successful completion of an intensive testing program, including a 650-mile drive across the Channel Island of Jersey. The journey, undertaken over three days, tested the vehicle in real-world conditions across the island’s narrow lanes and modest speed limits, closely matching the car’s intended use case. The results met Bentley and Hedley Studios’ performance and reliability benchmarks, prompting the official sign-off on the car’s limited production run of 349 units.

Unlike the full-size, ultra-exclusive Blower Continuation Series, which recreates Bentley’s Le Mans-era cars with painstaking historical accuracy, the Blower Jnr is a modern reinterpretation at 85% scale, purpose-built to comply with road regulations while celebrating one of Bentley’s most iconic designs. Its electric powertrain offers a top speed of 45 mph and a range of approximately 65 miles, making it well-suited to low-emission zones and urban mobility.

Each Blower Jnr will feature a hand-crafted body styled after the 1929 original, with period-correct details fused with modern conveniences and safety features. The compact footprint and road-legal classification allow the car to be enjoyed daily while remaining a collectible centerpiece.

Bentley officials describe the project as part of the brand’s evolving legacy—bridging the company’s storied past with a commitment to electrified mobility. With production now approved, deliveries of the Blower Jnr are expected to begin later this year, offering a new way to experience Bentley’s racing soul.
