Bugatti Chiron Production Ends with ‘The Ultimate’ Chiron Super Sport

Since its debut in 2016, the Bugatti Chiron has been an unparalleled symbol of hyper sports car performance. Limited to 500 units, the final Chiron, named ‘L’Ultime,’ has now been hand-assembled by the skilled craftspeople in Molsheim. This bespoke masterpiece marks the end of an extraordinary era for the Chiron, known for being the first 1,500 PS roadgoing car and the first production car to surpass 300 mph. As production concludes, Bugatti stands on the cusp of a new era.

The final Chiron, a Super Sport, elegantly reinterprets the car that first captivated audiences at the Geneva Motor Show eight years ago. The original color split of ‘Atlantic Blue’ and ‘French Racing Blue,’ intersected by a hand-polished aluminum C-line, is nostalgically revisited. For this 500th Chiron, the Bugatti Sur Mesure team created a mesmerizing interplay of fading colors, paying tribute to the places where the Chiron has left its mark since 2016.

Symbolizing Bugatti’s evolution in craftsmanship, the Super Sport features a distinctive blend of ‘French Racing Blue’ and ‘Atlantic Blue.’ This color transition creates an arresting visual effect, complemented by colored wheels that mirror the front and rear shades. A tailored blue Bugatti macaron graces the grille, and the bodywork is adorned with hand-written tributes to significant locations and events in the Chiron’s history. Inspired by the philosophy of ‘bullet speed,’ the design hints at the Chiron’s top speed, even at rest.

The aesthetic and engineering excellence of the Super Sport was a collaborative effort between the Bugatti Sur Mesure team and the customer, celebrating the milestones of the Chiron’s journey. Since its debut as the most powerful, fastest, and luxurious car in the world, the Chiron has remained at the pinnacle of automotive craftsmanship. The model lineup includes the Chiron, Chiron Sport, Chiron Pur Sport, and Chiron Super Sport, along with special editions like the Chiron Super Sport 300+ and Les Légendes du Ciel.

This final Chiron Super Sport embodies the Chiron’s legacy, featuring a unique hand-written ‘500’ that graces the exterior, wheel caps, and engine cover. It marks not only the end of the Chiron era but also another milestone in Bugatti’s 115-year history. The French flag, symbolizing Bugatti’s heritage, adorns the mirror wings, and the Super Sport’s grille is finished in ‘Atlantic Blue’ with a special horseshoe mesh.

Inside, the Chiron’s cabin reflects the bespoke nature of the exterior. The ‘Deep Blue’ leather and ‘Blue Carbon Matt’ finishes connect seamlessly, highlighted by the iconic ‘French Racing Blue.’ Intricate hand-woven leather and detailed craftsmanship ensure the final Chiron exudes excellence and timelessness.
