Two Bugatti hypercars, a Chiron Super Sport and a Chiron Pur Sport, were involved in a crash earlier this week during the Morocco Tour, in the Krochi Blanco region between Tangier and Tetouan. The multi-million-dollar vehicles were part of a convoy when the accident occurred as both drivers attempted to overtake a truck simultaneously.
According to footage shared online, the Chiron Super Sport attempted to overtake the truck just as the Pur Sport ahead also made a move, resulting in a collision between the two hypercars. The Super Sport skidded off the road, while the Pur Sport managed to come to a halt without significant damage. The truck involved in the accident veered off the road, crashing into the right side.
Images from the scene show the Chiron Super Sport with severe front-end damage, while the Pur Sport sustained only minor scratches. Thankfully, reports confirm that no one was injured in the crash, but details about the truck occupants remain unknown.
This incident highlights the risks even the most elite drivers face when pushing the limits of their vehicles, especially in convoy situations.
