Bugatti, renowned for its engineering marvels in the hypercar world, has made a spectacular entrance into the realm of luxury home design. This week, at the prestigious Milan Design Week, Bugatti in collaboration with Luxury Living Group, introduced the Bugatti Home Collection at the historical Palazzo Chiesa’s gardens in Corso Venezia. From April 15th to 21st, visitors can immerse themselves in a luxurious setting that draws inspiration from both Ettore Bugatti’s Orangerie at Molsheim and the cutting-edge Mistral Roadster hypercar.
The event, set against the backdrop of a lush 19th-century garden, showcases Bugatti’s signature artistry and commitment to premium materials. The collection features items such as the Type_1 modular sofa, the Type_4 dining table with elegant chrome legs, and the Type_5 chairs. These pieces beautifully meld natural textures like open-pore oak and sandblasted aluminum with modern materials, creating a unique aesthetic that captures the essence of Bugatti’s historic automotive designs.
Luxury is palpable in every detail of the collection, with items upholstered in rich fabrics like cashmere, wool, silk, and leather, offering an unparalleled tactile experience. The Type_3 sofa stands out with its plush folds and signature Bugatti metal tags, presenting a blend of retro elegance and modern sophistication. This year’s Bugatti Home Collection not only pays tribute to the brand’s iconic design elements but also redefines the boundaries of luxury furniture, setting new standards in design and craftsmanship. As Milan Design Week continues, Bugatti’s latest venture highlights its expansive approach to luxury, extending its reach from the garage to the living room.
