Specialty Vehicle Engineering (SVE) has unveiled a stunning transformation of the Chevrolet Corvette C8, introducing the ultra-exclusive Yenko/SC Corvette C8 with an astonishing 1,000 horsepower. This limited-edition model, with only ten units planned for 2024 and an additional 50 for 2025, elevates the already impressive Corvette to supercar-destroying levels.

The centerpiece of this upgrade is the extensively modified 6.2-liter LT2 V8 engine. SVE has equipped the engine with ceramic ball-bearing water-cooled turbochargers, forged H-beam rods, a steel crankshaft, and 2618 aluminum pistons. Additionally, CNC-ported high-flow cylinder heads, a custom intercooled intake manifold, and a proprietary camshaft contribute to the significant power increase. Custom valve covers and a high-performance exhaust system enhance both performance and sound.

To handle the immense power, the Corvette’s eight-speed dual-clutch transmission has been upgraded, and the fuel system has been enhanced to ensure optimal performance. The new setup promises a considerable improvement over the stock Corvette’s 490 horsepower, although SVE has not disclosed specific performance figures yet. Given the standard model’s top speed of 194 mph and 0-60 mph time of three seconds, the Yenko/SC is expected to deliver even more exhilarating performance.

In addition to mechanical enhancements, SVE offers a range of exterior and interior upgrades. Customers can choose from 14 factory paint colors and nine additional custom colors, with optional carbon fiber trim. The Yenko/SC package includes side and hood graphics that can be matched to the Vette’s brake calipers, typically painted red. The car rides on staggered forged wheels—19 inches at the front and 20 inches at the rear—wrapped in Nitto Summer Ultra High-Performance tires.

The interior of the Yenko/SC Corvette features SYC logos embroidered on the headrests and custom floormats, along with unique door sill plates and a plaque displaying the build number. These subtle touches maintain a sleeper appearance, making the car look almost stock while hiding its incredible performance capabilities.

The Yenko/SC Corvette C8 starts at $99,995, excluding the cost of the donor car and any additional options, bringing the total to at least $168,295. Despite its higher price tag compared to the Z06 or E-Ray, the exclusivity and performance enhancements make the Yenko/SC a coveted addition for collectors and enthusiasts.

SVE continues to push the boundaries of Chevrolet performance, following up their 800-horsepower Yenko/SC Silverado 1500 with this formidable Corvette. The limited production run ensures that the Yenko/SC Corvette C8 will remain a rare and highly sought-after vehicle, embodying the spirit of performance and exclusivity that defines the Yenko legacy.
