Chevrolet’s most iconic performance nameplate will be on full display when two standout Camaros—one classic, one modern—cross the block at the upcoming Freije & Freije Auctioneers Presents the Fall Big Boy Toy Auction on September 26, 2025.
Among the modern entries is a 2018 Chevrolet Yenko Camaro SC Stage II, a limited-production powerhouse rated at 1,000 horsepower. Built on the foundation of the sixth-generation Camaro, the Yenko features a supercharged 6.8-liter V8 paired with a six-speed manual transmission. Upgraded internals include a forged 4340 steel crankshaft, H-beam rods, and CNC-ported LT4 cylinder heads. Finished in Garnet Red with white stripes, the coupe is one of just 25 produced in 2018 and the only known example in this color combination. With under 600 miles on the odometer, it represents one of the rarest modern Camaros ever offered at auction.
Balancing the roster is a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28, a model revered for its motorsport pedigree and small-block performance. This example is powered by a 302-cubic-inch V8 mated to a four-speed manual transmission, reflecting the homologation requirements that made the Z/28 a Trans-Am racing legend. The car is finished in gray with leather interior, and comes equipped with power steering, blending classic performance with period-correct usability.
The pairing underscores the Camaro’s enduring legacy—from its late-1960s racing roots to today’s highly engineered performance specials. Collectors and enthusiasts will have the rare opportunity to bid on both sides of the Camaro story: one engineered to dominate racetracks in the muscle car era, the other a modern interpretation built for exclusivity and raw power.
