A trio of classic American sports cars will take center stage at Compass Auctions’ upcoming Live End of Month Auction, offering bidders a chance to own a piece of automotive history. The event, featuring both onsite and online bidding, will include a 1975 Pontiac Trans Am, a 1980 Chevrolet Corvette, and a 1977 Chevrolet Corvette T-Top, each with distinct attributes and collector appeal.
Leading the lineup is a 1975 Pontiac Trans Am, powered by a 6.6-liter gas engine paired with an automatic transmission. With 73,538 miles on the odometer, the black Trans Am remains a solid driver, though it requires some attention. Notable issues include a driver’s door that won’t open from the inside, a non-functioning tachometer, inoperative radio, and brake light concerns. The heat works but is stuck on defrost, and the vehicle lacks air conditioning. Despite these quirks, the car runs and drives and comes with a Michigan title.
Joining the auction is a red 1980 Chevrolet Corvette T-Top, featuring a 5.7-liter V8 engine and an automatic transmission. With 49,569 miles, this Corvette remains operational but experiences stalling at idle. The car is equipped with power windows, leather interior, and manual locks, seats, and mirrors. It will be sold on a bill of sale with estate documentation.
Rounding out the selection is a 1977 Chevrolet Corvette T-Top, also finished in red. This Corvette is currently in non-operational condition, turning over but failing to start. Like its 1980 counterpart, it features a 5.7-liter V8 engine and an automatic transmission, with power windows and a leather interior.
