Evoluto Automobili’s reengineered take on the Ferrari F355 has completed a yearlong development program, marking a major milestone as the low-volume model moves toward customer deliveries in late 2026.
Known as the 355 by Evoluto, the restomod recently underwent high-speed validation in the 1.5-mile Catesby Tunnel, a setting that highlighted one of the car’s defining traits: its naturally aspirated V-8 engine. Production readiness follows more than 5,000 miles of track testing, with final durability approval scheduled for April.
First revealed in 2024, the 355 by Evoluto builds upon the foundation of the original Ferrari F355 while significantly enhancing performance and engineering. Buyers can choose between two V-8 configurations. A 3.5-liter version retains the original car’s displacement and 8,500 rpm redline but increases output from 375 horsepower to 414 horsepower. For those seeking greater performance, an optional 3.7-liter engine produces 473 horsepower and revs to 9,000 rpm.
Beyond its powertrain, the car features extensive chassis and suspension revisions. The front and rear tracks have been widened by 77 millimeters and 66 millimeters, respectively, contributing to improved stability and a more assertive stance. Suspension components, including control arms, uprights, wheel bearings and anti-roll bar links, have been redesigned.
Engineers also reworked core chassis hardpoints to optimize suspension geometry for modern wheels and tires. Adjustments to scrub radius, caster angle and camber control aim to deliver sharper steering response and greater stability. The recalibrated damper-to-wheel ratio allows the R53 ST46 dampers to operate more effectively, while a lightweight anti-roll system improves body control.
Evoluto addressed discontinued components by developing new modular wheel-bearing units and driveshafts. The updated bearings reduce unsprung mass by more than two pounds per corner and enhance serviceability.
While the exterior maintains the F355’s recognizable silhouette, owners can extensively personalize the interior with a range of materials and finishes. Production will be limited to 55 cars, with first deliveries expected in the fourth quarter of 2026.
