Ferrari has unveiled a series of bespoke 296 GTB special editions exclusively for the Middle East market. These six custom cars, each representing a Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) nation, were revealed at a grand event in Abu Dhabi, marking Ferrari’s 30th anniversary in the region.
Each of the six 296 GTB special editions is painted in a distinct color symbolizing a Gulf nation, complemented by gold wheels and a matching roof. The lineup includes:
- Green for Saudi Arabia
- White for the UAE
- Blue for Oman
- Maroon for Qatar
- Black for Bahrain
- Metallic Brown for Kuwait
These striking exteriors reflect Ferrari’s attention to detail and dedication to creating unique masterpieces for each country.
Inside, the special editions boast Beige Honolulu leather upholstery accented with Gold Metallic leather, offering an opulent and refined cabin. Gold Prancing Horse logos are elegantly embroidered on the headrests, while the frunk is luxuriously lined with premium leather, underscoring Ferrari’s commitment to craftsmanship.
Under the hood, the special editions feature the same potent 2.9-liter twin-turbocharged V6 hybrid powertrain found in the standard 296 GTB. Delivering an impressive 819 horsepower and 546 lb-ft of torque through an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission, these cars maintain Ferrari’s legendary performance credentials.
The unveiling of the 296 GTB special editions not only celebrates Ferrari’s rich history in the Middle East but also highlights its continued innovation and connection with the region’s discerning clientele.
As Ferrari looks ahead to introducing an updated version of the 296 GTB next year, these bespoke editions serve as a reminder of the brand’s dedication to crafting cars that resonate with local heritage while embodying Ferrari’s timeless pursuit of excellence.
