Ferrari is once again stirring the supercar world, filing two new trademark names in Italy that have fans and experts speculating wildly about what the Prancing Horse might unveil next.
The filings, “SC40” and “CZ26,” were made with little context — just eight characters total — but with Ferrari, even a single letter can ignite global buzz. While details remain under wraps, the names have sparked talk of special editions or even heritage-inspired revivals from the brand’s iconic past.
Of the two, SC40 has drawn the most attention. The combination evokes Ferrari’s legendary F40, the raw, twin-turbo icon that defined late ’80s performance. The letters “SC” could hint at Scuderia Corsa, Ferrari’s racing arm, suggesting a track-focused edition or tribute car.
