The highly anticipated Bugatti Bolide, a revolutionary track-only hypercar, has made its way to Texas, marking the delivery of one of the first production models in the world. Team CJ Works, based in Austin, shared the exciting news, showcasing the hypercar in its stunning launch-spec blue and black paintwork. This delivery not only highlights the exclusivity of the Bolide but also signals the beginning of its journey from concept to reality.

Unveiled as a concept in 2020, the Bugatti Bolide quickly captivated the automotive world with its daring design and groundbreaking performance. Powered by an 8.0-liter quad-turbocharged W16 engine—the same powerhouse as the Chiron Super Sport—the Bolide has been engineered for the track. Its beefed-up engine delivers an astonishing 1,578 horsepower and 1,180 lb-ft of torque, propelling it to a top speed of 236 mph (380 km/h). With a dry weight of just 1,450 kilograms, the hypercar achieves an unparalleled power-to-weight ratio of over 1,100 horsepower per tonne.

Bugatti has gone to extraordinary lengths to ensure the Bolide stands out in both performance and innovation. Its bespoke carbon fiber monocoque optimizes aerodynamics while maintaining a lightweight structure. The hypercar also features a groundbreaking carbon-carbon brake system, developed over two years by Brembo, for exceptional stopping power.

To preserve its exclusivity, Bugatti is producing only 40 units of the Bolide, making it one of the rarest hypercars ever built. This particular Bolide was delivered to a racer who plans to fully exploit its track potential, ensuring the car is not merely a collector’s item but a machine designed to dominate the asphalt.

As Bugatti continues deliveries, the Bolide solidifies its place as a pinnacle of engineering and performance, promising to redefine the boundaries of track-focused hypercars.
