Bentley has confirmed the launch of its latest Grand Touring sedan, the new Flying Spur, set for 12:30 BST on Tuesday, September 10. This eagerly anticipated model represents the pinnacle of Bentley’s engineering prowess, combining unparalleled luxury with cutting-edge hybrid technology.
The new Flying Spur, described as Bentley’s four-door supercar, will be powered by the company’s new Ultra Performance Hybrid powertrain. This advanced system delivers an impressive 782 PS (771 bhp) and 1000 Nm of torque, making it the most powerful and dynamic four-door vehicle in Bentley’s 105-year history. Despite its formidable performance, the Flying Spur remains remarkably efficient, with CO2 emissions below 40 g/km, an electric-only range of more than 45 miles, and a total range exceeding 500 miles.
Bentley’s Ultra Performance Hybrid powertrain represents the future of the brand, offering drivers the flexibility of high-performance driving combined with the tranquility of silent, electric-powered luxury. To showcase the vehicle’s expanded dynamic capabilities, Bentley will release a launch film featuring racing legends, both past and present, demonstrating the car’s exceptional performance.
The new Flying Spur’s introduction marks a significant milestone for Bentley as it continues to push the boundaries of luxury, performance, and efficiency. The model is set to redefine what a four-door supercar can be, blending the thrill of high-performance driving with the comfort and elegance Bentley is known for.
