At stake is the all-new 2026 Corvette ZR1, finished in Torch Red with Visible Carbon Fiber accents and Gloss Black forged aluminum wheels. Known as the “King of the Hill,” this ZR1 introduces Chevrolet’s most extreme performance package yet, combining supercar design with staggering power.
Under the hood is a 5.5-liter LT7 twin-turbocharged DOHC flat-plane crank V8 engine, producing 1,064 horsepower and 828 lb-ft of torque. That output makes it the most powerful factory V8 ever built by an American automaker. Chevrolet estimates a top speed exceeding 215 mph and a sub-10-second quarter mile. Engineers fitted massive 76 mm turbos close to the exhaust valves, reducing lag while generating thrust levels usually associated with aircraft.
Performance goes beyond the powerplant. The ZR1’s carbon fiber aero system produces over 1,200 pounds of downforce at speed, while the ZTK Performance Package adds a towering rear wing, dive planes, underbody strakes, and Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2R tires. Even its split rear window is a callback to Corvette history. Inside, the cockpit features ZR1-specific stitching, badging, and a factory boost gauge — the first for a production Corvette.
