Hennessey Venom F5 Evolution Debuts with 2,031 HP, Concludes Final Testing Phase

Hennessey Performance has announced the completion of final testing for its next-generation hypercar, the Venom F5 Evolution. With a staggering 2,031 horsepower, the F5 Evolution now claims the title of the world’s most powerful internal combustion engine-powered hypercar.

The upgraded Venom F5 is the result of an extensive development program involving Hennessey’s in-house engineers and world-renowned aerodynamic specialists. The testing focused on refining performance, drivability, and aerodynamics across multiple environments.

At the heart of the Evolution is Hennessey’s 6.6-liter twin-turbocharged “Fury” V8, which now benefits from Precision 76/80 Next Gen turbochargers, Ilmor-designed oval billet aluminum pistons, extreme-duty connecting rods, lightweight titanium valves, and upgraded fuel injectors. Running on E85, the enhanced powerplant generates 2,031 hp at 8,000 rpm and 1,445 lb-ft of torque at 5,200 rpm. The company claims the hypercar can accelerate from 0 to 200 mph in a blistering 10.3 seconds.

Handling improvements come via an all-new adaptive suspension system with five driving modes: Sport, Road Race, Drag, Wet, and the top-tier F5 Mode. Each setting is calibrated to adjust damping and chassis behavior to suit different track or road conditions.

Aerodynamic revisions include a larger front splitter, dive planes, tire wake deflectors, and louvered front wheel arches. A Gurney lip added to the rear spoiler provides enhanced high-speed stability.

Hennessey also announced new interior options aimed at improving comfort for long-distance driving. Buyers can choose from lightweight carbon bucket seats or optional “Touring Carbon Seats” with leather trim and exposed carbon fiber backs.

The Evolution upgrade package is priced at $285,000 and is available for all Venom F5 models, including the Coupe, Roadster, and Revolution. Existing F5 owners may also retrofit their vehicles with the new performance and comfort enhancements.

With final testing complete, deliveries of the Venom F5 Evolution are expected to begin later this year.
