Hennessey Venom F5 Roadster Heads to Auction With Price Already Near $2 Million

An ultra-rare Hennessey Venom F5 Roadster is drawing significant attention at auction, with bidding already approaching $2 million and time still remaining before the sale concludes.

The hypercar, one of only a handful produced, represents the fifth Venom F5 Roadster built by Hennessey Special Vehicles. Known for its extreme performance and limited production, the model sits among the most powerful road-legal cars ever created by the Texas-based manufacturer.

Powering the Venom F5 Roadster is a twin-turbocharged 6.6-liter V-8 engine producing 1,817 horsepower. The engine sends power exclusively to the rear wheels through a seven-speed manual transmission, emphasizing a driving experience focused on raw performance and driver engagement.

The vehicle is built with a heavy emphasis on lightweight construction and advanced materials. Carbon fiber plays a major role throughout the car’s structure and components, including the monocoque chassis, removable roof panel and steering yoke. The braking system also reflects the performance-focused design, utilizing carbon ceramic brakes for high-performance stopping power.

This particular example was completed in 2023 and shows just 681 miles on the odometer. The relatively low mileage leaves the next owner with a choice between maintaining the car as a near-new collectible or enjoying its full performance capabilities on the road.

Finished in Banner Green, the hypercar features a bold exterior that complements its aggressive design. The roadster includes several distinctive elements, including a removable exposed carbon-fiber roof
