Imported 1998 Nissan Skyline GT Sedan Heads to Glendale Auction Block

A recently imported 1998 Nissan Skyline GT sedan is set to cross the block Thursday, March 19, at the Glendale 2026 auction, presenting enthusiasts with a distinctive right-hand drive performance car finished in a rare color-shifting paint.

The Skyline, showing just over 110,000 kilometers on the odometer, is powered by a 2.5-liter RG25DET inline six-cylinder engine paired with a five-speed manual transmission. Known for its balance of performance and tunability, the platform has been enhanced with a series of aftermarket upgrades aimed at improving both reliability and driving dynamics.

Cooling has been addressed with a GReddy radiator, while airflow improvements come from an Airinix cold air intake. The car also features a three-inch exhaust system, contributing to increased engine efficiency and a more aggressive tone. Suspension upgrades include Blitz front coilovers and Tein components in the rear, giving the sedan a more planted stance and responsive handling.

Visually, the Skyline stands out with its Midnight Purple III paint, a factory-inspired finish known for shifting hues depending on lighting conditions. The exterior is further modified with a custom body kit that includes revised front and rear bumpers and side skirts, along with a carbon fiber rear wing. The car rides on 18-inch white Work Emotion wheels, adding contrast to the deep-toned paintwork.

Inside, the cabin reflects a driver-focused approach. A racing-style seat is positioned on the driver’s side, complemented by a Nismo shifter and a MOMO steering wheel. Additional instrumentation includes HKS gauges, along with a Blitz turbo gauge and a GReddy oil pressure gauge, providing real-time performance data.

Comfort and convenience features remain intact, including power windows, locks and mirrors, as well as a tilt steering column. Entertainment is handled by a Pioneer Carrozzeria DVD Dolby audio system.

Blending Japanese performance heritage with modern upgrades, the Skyline GT sedan arrives in Glendale as a compelling option for collectors and enthusiasts seeking a unique, well-equipped import.
