An ultra-rare Lamborghini Aventador Ultimae Roadster, specially configured to pay homage to the legendary Miura, is set to be auctioned next month at Mecum’s event in Indianapolis. This exclusive model, which has clocked less than 200 miles, carries an estimated price tag between $800,000 and $850,000—significantly above its original MSRP.
The Aventador Ultimae was introduced as the final iteration of the Aventador line, celebrating Lamborghini’s long-standing legacy of V12 supercars. Unlike its more track-focused sibling, the Aventador SVJ, the Ultimae balances extreme performance with the elegance of road-going supercars. Out of the 250 Ultimae Roadsters produced, this vehicle is one of only two featuring a Miura-inspired color scheme, reminiscent of the Aventador Miura Homage, which was limited to just 50 units worldwide.
The exterior of this distinctive Lamborghini is finished in Verde Metallic, complemented by Oro Elios accents that highlight the front bumper, side skirts, and rear fascias, including the diffuser. It stands on gloss bronze wheels, with extensive use of carbon fiber enhancing its striking appearance—elements like the rear-quarter air intakes, rear diffuser, and wing mirrors are all crafted from this lightweight material. The car’s exterior has also been protected with Xpel paint protection film, and it comes with a car cover and trickle charger.
Under the hood, the Ultimae Roadster is equipped with a 6.5-liter naturally-aspirated V12 engine, capable of producing 770 horsepower at 8,700 rpm and 531 lb-ft of torque. This makes it one of the most powerful non-hybrid V12 models Lamborghini has ever produced, marking the end of an era for purely gasoline-powered Lamborghinis.
As Lamborghini transitions to more sustainable propulsion technologies, this auction presents a unique opportunity for collectors to own a piece of automotive history, symbolizing both the culmination of the Aventador line and a tribute to one of the most iconic models in the marque’s storied past.
