Lamborghini Revuelto Totaled in Indonesia Following High-Speed Crash

A Lamborghini Revuelto, the Italian marque’s newest hybrid hypercar, has been severely damaged in a high-speed collision in Indonesia, marking the latest in a series of incidents involving the high-performance model since its debut.

According to local reports and video footage circulated on social media, the accident occurred earlier this week, when the Lamborghini rear-ended a Suzuki S-Presso, a compact hatchback commonly seen on Indonesian roads. The impact left the Revuelto’s front end completely destroyed, suggesting the crash occurred at significant speed.

Authorities have not yet confirmed whether the driver of the Lamborghini or occupants of the Suzuki sustained any injuries. The crash is under investigation, with preliminary findings indicating that excessive speed may have been a contributing factor.

This incident marks at least the third reported crash involving a Revuelto—Lamborghini’s flagship model, introduced as the brand’s first series-production hybrid V12. Earlier this year, a Revuelto in Lebanon was severely damaged while being driven to a fuel station prior to customer delivery. That vehicle was reportedly a total loss. Separately, footage from Italy captured another Revuelto scraping a guardrail at high speed while navigating a highway curve.

The Revuelto, boasting over 1,000 horsepower and a 0-60 mph time of just 2.5 seconds, represents a bold new era for Lamborghini. However, the recent string of high-profile crashes underscores the challenges that can come with managing such extreme performance on public roads.

As demand surges for the limited-production model, automotive experts and safety advocates are urging supercar owners to exercise caution, especially in urban or high-traffic environments. Lamborghini has not issued a statement regarding the latest crash.
