Lamborghini is ushering in a new era of high-performance engineering with the upcoming 2025 Temerario, designed to succeed the brand’s bestselling model, the Huracán. Lamborghini pulled out all the stops on this next-generation supercar, equipping it with a state-of-the-art aluminum spaceframe chassis, an advanced hybrid powertrain, and an aerodynamic design optimized for performance.

The Temerario’s newly developed chassis builds on the aluminum spaceframe concept of the Huracán but introduces a series of enhancements to improve stiffness and reduce weight. The updated chassis is 25% stiffer than that of the Huracán, contributing to improved handling and durability on the road and track. By reducing the number of structural components by half and minimizing heat welds by 80%, Lamborghini achieved a lighter and more streamlined design. Although the hybrid system adds weight, bringing the total dry weight to 3,725 pounds—just above the Huracán’s 3,330 pounds—the chassis enhancements help counterbalance this, ensuring the Temerario remains agile.

The heart of the Temerario is a potent 907-horsepower hybrid powertrain, centered around a newly developed 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine working in tandem with three axial-flux electric motors. This setup includes two electric motors at the front axle and a third motor sandwiched between the engine and an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission. This combination allows the Temerario to sprint from 0-62 mph in a lightning-fast 2.7 seconds, with a top speed exceeding 210 mph.

In addition to its impressive speed, the Temerario features a 3.8-kWh lithium-ion battery mounted in a central tunnel, providing a limited electric-only range. While Lamborghini hasn’t released specific range figures, the streamlined design, featuring advanced airflow channels, has been engineered to maximize aerodynamic efficiency, which is expected to enhance the electric range.

Inside, the Temerario offers increased cabin space compared to the Huracán, adding comfort to its thrilling performance. With a starting price around $360,000, this supercar embodies Lamborghini’s dedication to cutting-edge technology and luxury. Scheduled for release in early 2025, the Temerario is set to capture the attention of enthusiasts and collectors eager to experience Lamborghini’s latest leap forward.
