Limited-Run 2022 Mercedes-AMG SL63 Brabus 750 Bodo Buschmann Edition on Bring a Trailer

A 2022 Mercedes-AMG SL63 modified by Brabus is drawing attention as one of just 25 examples built worldwide in the exclusive 750 Bodo Buschmann Edition specification. The roadster, showing just under 1,700 miles, is currently listed with a highest bid of $122,000 and three days remaining in the auction.

The special edition was introduced in July 2023 as a tribute to Brabus founder Bodo Buschmann. Each example was produced exclusively in a triple black configuration and equipped with a series of bespoke performance and cosmetic upgrades. This car is finished in Obsidian Black Metallic and features paint protection film applied to its exterior surfaces.

Brabus enhancements include a carbon-fiber front spoiler, rear diffuser and additional exterior accents, along with quad titanium exhaust finishers and an illuminated grille emblem. The car rides on staggered 21-inch front and 22-inch rear Brabus Monoblock II Evo Platinum Edition forged wheels in Shadow Chrome, wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires.

Under the hood, the twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter M177 V8 received the Brabus PowerXtra B40S-750 treatment. Upgraded turbochargers and internal modifications help deliver a rated 750 horsepower and 664 pound-feet of torque. Power is routed through a nine-speed AMG Speedshift MCT automatic transmission and a 4MATIC+ all-wheel-drive system with an electronic limited-slip rear differential. The car is also equipped with an active sport exhaust, a Brabus lowering module with adjustable sport springs, rear-axle steering, a front-axle lift system and carbon-ceramic brakes.

Inside, the Brabus Masterpiece interior package adds black Nappa leather with R-Sport quilting, carbon-fiber trim and illuminated details. Heated, ventilated and massaging seats, an Airscarf neck-warming system, Burmester High-End 3D audio and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster are among the amenities.

An invoice from September 2023 shows a total cost of $415,000, including the car’s original $211,000 MSRP. The vehicle is offered on dealer consignment with manufacturer’s literature, a car cover and a clean Arizona title. A Carfax report shows no accidents or reported damage.
