A 1988 Lamborghini Countach with remarkably low mileage is drawing attention as it heads toward the close of its online auction.
Lamborghini Countach Rolls Unattended Into Scottish Estate Overnight
The black 5000 Quattrovalvole model, showing just 3,300 kilometers — roughly 2,000 miles — on the odometer, is listed on Bring A Trailer with bidding already reaching $645,000 and only a day remaining. The car is one of 680 examples produced and among the final iterations of the Countach line, which ran from 1974 through 1990.

Originally delivered through a dealer in Long Island, the car remained with its first owner for decades before being sold to another dealer in 2024. It has since undergone a light refurbishment in preparation for sale. Recent servicing includes fresh brake fluid, transmission fluid and engine oil.
Power comes from a 5.2-liter V-12 engine paired with a five-speed manual transmission. When new, the engine produced 420 horsepower, a figure it is believed to remain close to today. The car rides on distinctive 15-inch-wide gold wheels and is configured to U.S. specifications, including its bumpers and taillights. It is finished in Nero Tenebre and equipped with pop-up headlights, Hella fog lights and a V-shaped rear wing.
The sale includes factory manuals and an award earned at a 2025 show in Greenwich, underscoring its continued presence on the concours circuit. While not entirely untouched, the car has been carefully maintained, reflecting its status as a collectible icon of the 1980s.
With mileage far below typical examples and strong interest from bidders, the Countach could surpass the average sale price for similar well-preserved models as the auction concludes.
