The car, a European-market downdraft example finished in Rosso Siviglia over Panna leather, has logged roughly 12,000 kilometers, or about 7,000 miles. Bidding currently sits at $375,000 with ten days left, and given recent trends, it would not be surprising to see the final number climb significantly higher. Production of the 25th Anniversary variant totaled around 658 units, making it one of the rarest and most visually distinctive evolutions of the Countach before Lamborghini transitioned to the Diablo.
The Anniversary model represents the culmination of the platform’s development. Originally shaped by Marcello Gandini, the Countach received its final updates under Horacio Pagani, who refined the intakes, cooling, and bodywork. These adjustments influenced Lamborghini design well into the modern era. This particular car is a true European downdraft version, equipped with Weber 44 DCNF carburetors that enthusiasts favor for their responsiveness, sound, and period-correct authenticity.
Mechanical work completed since 2023 totals more than $60,000, performed by Curated Restoration & Service in Miami. The list includes a carburetor overhaul, valve cover gaskets, cooling hoses, accessory belts, spark plugs, and updated cooling ducts. Additional 2024 work included fixes to the starter motor, new engine and transmission mounts, a fresh clutch disc, and renewed air-conditioning components. Interior details reflect the late-1980s era, with Panna leather accented by red piping and carpeting, a gated dogleg shifter, and period-correct Blaupunkt stereo equipment.
The car sits on 15-inch OZ Racing wheels with red centers and Pirelli Asimmetrico tires. Braking components were refreshed in 2023, and the fully independent suspension continues to use coil springs and telescopic shocks, maintaining the factory driving character.
Powered by a 5.2-liter Bizzarrini-designed V12 producing 448 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque through six Weber carburetors, this version remains one of the highest-spec factory Countachs. With a clean Carfax, documented European provenance, low mileage, and comprehensive recent mechanical attention, the listing presents a strong case for collectors seeking the final and most refined generation of Lamborghini’s poster-car legend.
