Basketball icon Michael Jordan has owned some of the world’s most coveted cars, but even he was left in awe after acquiring an ultra-rare Hennessey Venom F5 Roadster—one of only 45 ever built.
The six-time NBA champion and billionaire businessman took delivery of the $3 million hypercar in 2023, and an insider described his reaction as nothing short of astonished.
“He was blown away,” the insider told the New York Post. “Nothing is as intense and fully engaging as this car. Some hypercars are built for luxury, but the Hennessey is out-and-out power and performance.”
With an estimated net worth of $3.5 billion, Jordan has the means to acquire nearly any vehicle in the world. Over the years, his collection has included everything from a Ferrari 512TR and McLaren-Mercedes SLR 722 to a rare Bugatti Veyron. Now, his latest addition stands out as one of the most extreme hypercars ever built.
The Hennessey Venom F5 Roadster is powered by a 6.6-liter twin-turbocharged V8 producing a staggering 1,817 horsepower. Designed to exceed 300 mph, the hypercar is built with lightweight carbon fiber construction and an aerodynamically optimized body for extreme speed.
Jordan’s passion for speed extends beyond his personal garage. He co-owns the 23XI Racing NASCAR team, further cementing his connection to high-performance machines.
While he’s driven some of the most exclusive cars on the planet, the Venom F5 Roadster appears to have set a new benchmark—even for the GOAT.
