Miller Motorcars Delivers 1,600-HP Bugatti Mistral in French Racing Blue

Miller Motorcars and Bugatti Greenwich have completed delivery of one of the first Bugatti Mistrals—a hyper-limited open-top roadster that pays tribute to the legacy of the W16 engine. Finished in striking French Racing Blue with carbon fiber accents, this Mistral is one of only 99 to be produced globally.

The delivery, shared on social media and captured by automotive photographer Dan Wagner (@carsthatlookneat), documents the unboxing of the multimillion-dollar hypercar after its journey from Bugatti’s Molsheim headquarters to a private client. The wooden shipping crate revealed a masterclass in design and engineering: a car engineered to surpass 260 mph, powered by Bugatti’s 8.0-liter quad-turbocharged W16—the same 1,600-horsepower unit used in the record-breaking Chiron Super Sport 300+.

This particular Mistral features gloss black wheels paired with blue carbon-ceramic brake calipers and a luxurious dual-tone interior in black and French Racing Blue leather. The sports seats incorporate a houndstooth-inspired center stripe, with ‘Mistral’ embroidered on each headrest in matching blue stitching. At the heart of the cabin sits a bespoke gear shifter—crafted from blue crystal glass and adorned with the emblematic Rembrandt Bugatti elephant sculpture.

The Mistral represents the final chapter for the W16 engine, a powerplant that has defined Bugatti’s modern era. As the brand transitions into its next phase under Bugatti Rimac, the Mistral serves as a collector-grade swan song—melding heritage with aerodynamic innovation in an open-top format.
