A Florida showroom recently drew headlines after unveiling a full-size Bentley Continental GT sculpture made entirely of wood, complete with a price tag just shy of $100,000.
The handcrafted piece, modeled after the third-generation Continental GT built between 2017 and 2024, was listed on eBay for $98,900. According to the seller, Autosport Group, the sculpture was originally acquired in Belgium before being shipped to the United States, where it has since been displayed alongside real Bentleys.

The identity of the artist remains unknown, but the craftsmanship has been turning heads. Built from more than 1,000 pieces of marine-grade teak, the sculpture reportedly required 3,000 hours of labor to complete. Despite lacking an engine, the piece is mounted on two steel axles with steerable wheels, allowing it to be moved like a real vehicle.
Attention to detail sets this wooden replica apart. The exterior features include carved diamond-pattern grilles, acrylic windows, and opening doors. Inside, the sculptor recreated the entire cabin in wood, including four full-size seats, a dashboard, a center console and detailed touches such as vents, controls, speakers and gauges.

Though the auction has ended without a buyer, the wooden Bentley is part of a growing niche of automotive-inspired craftsmanship. Other examples include the work of Vietnamese carpenter Truong Van Dao, who has gained international recognition for creating drivable wooden supercars, including replicas of Cristiano Ronaldo’s Bugatti Centodieci and Mercedes’ futuristic AVTR concept.
While it may not roar to life like the real Continental GT, the full-size wooden Bentley has already succeeded as an artistic homage, bridging automotive passion and creative expression in a form both familiar and unexpected.
