Sasha Selipanov, formerly the Head of Design at Koenigsegg, made waves last year with the launch of Hardline27, his automotive design and brand consulting firm. However, what remained under the radar was his simultaneous development of a revolutionary hypercar brand, Nilu27. The anticipation ends on August 15, 2024, when Selipanov will reveal Nilu27’s first hypercar at Pebble Beach.

Details about this new hypercar are shrouded in mystery. What is known is that it will defy current trends of digitalization and electrification. In a bold social media declaration, the company stated, “Unfazed by digitalization, electrification and other distractions, we’re focusing on the ultimate automotive experience with a healthy dose of ‘holy shit’ mixed in for good measure.”

The early visual hints of the Nilu27 hypercar have generated considerable buzz. The design features minimal rear bodywork, a centrally-mounted triple exhaust, and a prominent diffuser. A teaser video also showcased a glass canopy with butterfly doors, inboard suspension, and a distinctive triple-plane rear spoiler.

This innovative design embodies Selipanov’s vision of merging aesthetics with high performance. The Nilu27 hypercar is set to offer not only exceptional speed and agility but also an evocative driving experience reminiscent of the classic supercar era.

As the Pebble Beach debut approaches, the automotive community eagerly awaits further details. With Selipanov’s impressive background and the tantalizing glimpses revealed so far, the Nilu27 hypercar is poised to make a significant impact.

Mark your calendars for August 15 to witness the unveiling of a potential new icon in the hypercar world, crafted by one of the industry’s most creative minds.
