One-of-a-Kind Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse Resurfaces After 8 Years in Private Collection

A rare, one-of-a-kind Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse has resurfaced after spending more than eight years tucked away in a private collection, reigniting excitement among hypercar collectors and enthusiasts worldwide.

Sold through Miller Motorcars in Greenwich, Connecticut, the Veyron is one of just 92 Grand Sport Vitesse models ever built, and one of only 22 allocated to the North American market. What sets this car apart, however, is its 1-of-1 factory “Vagues de Lumière” (Wave of Light) livery—a custom hand-painted white and blue exterior that reflects light in dynamic, wave-like patterns.

The car recently underwent a comprehensive pre-delivery inspection at Miller Motorcars, recognized as Bugatti’s Regional Service Partner of the Year in 2025, before being delivered to its new owner in the U.S.

Inside, the Veyron’s bold theme continues with a fully bespoke interior clad in Tangerine orange leather, contrasting with deep blue carbon fiber accents across the dash, seats, trim, and seat belts. The headrests bear custom embroidery, and every surface showcases the meticulous attention to detail that defined the Veyron’s limited production run.

Beneath the surface lies the heart of the hypercar: a quad-turbocharged 8.0-liter W16 engine producing 1,200 horsepower, routed through an advanced all-wheel-drive system. Capable of launching from 0 to 60 mph in under 2.5 seconds, the Grand Sport Vitesse remains one of the most powerful open-top cars ever produced.

Although succeeded by the Chiron, Mistral, and upcoming Tourbillon, the Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse still holds a revered place in automotive history. Its reemergence—especially in such a unique spec—adds to the enduring allure of Bugatti’s modern-era masterpiece.
