A rare and meticulously preserved McLaren P1, finished in a striking one-off Satin Camo Green, is set to hit the auction stage this month, offering collectors a chance to own one of the most distinctive hypercars ever built.

RM Sotheby’s will present the ultra-exclusive hybrid hypercar, which has remained virtually untouched in a private collection for the past decade. Originally commissioned by a Qatari collector, the 2015 McLaren P1 features a bespoke exterior that pairs matte green paint with McLaren Orange accents on the emblems, brake calipers, rear wing struts, and wheel center caps. The bold color scheme continues into the cabin, where the seats, dashboard, and steering wheel are all upholstered in McLaren Orange, creating an unmistakable visual impact.

Despite its track-focused engineering and blistering performance capabilities, this particular P1 has barely seen the road. With only 80 miles on the odometer, it remains one of the lowest-mileage examples of the 375-unit production run, making it an especially desirable collector’s piece.
The McLaren P1 debuted in 2013 as part of the “Holy Trinity” of hybrid hypercars, alongside the Ferrari LaFerrari and Porsche 918 Spyder. Featuring a twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter V8 paired with an electric motor, the P1 delivers a combined 903 horsepower, capable of launching from 0-60 mph in under three seconds.
This rare, showroom-condition example is estimated to fetch between $1 million and $1.5 million at auction. Given its unique specification and limited mileage, it is expected to generate strong interest from collectors and enthusiasts eager to acquire a piece of modern automotive history.
