Pagani Automobili has once again reignited the legend of the Zonda, unveiling a dramatic, jet-inspired, one-off model more than two decades after the supercar’s initial debut. Commissioned through Pagani’s ultra-exclusive Unico customization program, this latest creation is the only Zonda of its kind, blending aviation design with Italian automotive artistry.

While the Zonda ceased standard production years ago, this custom commission demonstrates that Horacio Pagani’s team remains willing to resurrect the icon under special circumstances. Built for a private client with a distinct vision, the vehicle’s design draws heavily from fighter jets, both in form and function.
Visually, the supercar features a striking combination of blue accents on the doors, calipers, and rear fenders—highlighting the influence of the client’s chosen theme: the Kunlun Mountains in China. A wealth of exposed carbon fiber underscores the Zonda’s signature look, while an aggressive aero package transforms the silhouette. Notable additions include a central fin, a roof-mounted air scoop, and a twin rear wing reminiscent of military aircraft.
Although Pagani has not disclosed technical specifications, this one-off is expected to mirror the high-performance benchmarks of the Zonda 760 series. That would imply a naturally aspirated 7.3-liter V12 engine capable of producing approximately 760 horsepower and 575 lb-ft of torque, paired with a six-speed manual gearbox and rear-wheel drive.

Despite its age—first launched in 1999—the Zonda continues to evolve and capture the imagination of hypercar enthusiasts. Pagani’s ongoing willingness to craft bespoke models confirms that the Zonda remains a living canvas for extreme personalization and mechanical excellence.
For collectors with both deep pockets and unique ideas, Pagani’s Unico program offers the ultimate opportunity: turning the wildest dreams into high-octane reality, one car at a time.
