Pagani has launched the Huayra Epitome, a unique creation from its Grandi Complicazioni division, marking the first Huayra equipped with a manual transmission. This one-off hypercar epitomizes luxury and technological advancement, reflecting the meticulous customization and performance that Pagani is renowned for.
The Huayra Epitome features a Pagani V12 engine that delivers an impressive 864 horsepower and 811 lb-ft of torque. This powerful engine is paired with a seven-speed manual gearbox by Xtrac, providing a pure and exhilarating driving experience. Enhanced suspension and advanced aerodynamic features ensure superior handling and safety, allowing drivers to explore the vehicle’s capabilities with confidence.
The Epitome’s design is tailored to the commissioning client’s vision, incorporating custom front and rear bumpers, exclusive light clusters, and a rear hood with an integrated wing. The lightweight titanium exhaust system and forged aluminum alloy wheels, inspired by the client’s Imola Coupé, add to the car’s sophisticated aesthetic. Every aspect of the Huayra Epitome, from its aerodynamic profile to its luxurious interior, has been crafted to create a truly unique and stunning hypercar.
The Huayra Epitome is powered by a 5.0-liter twin-turbocharged V-12 engine, capable of producing 852 horsepower and 811 lb-ft of torque. Unlike other Huayra models that feature six- and seven-speed sequential transmissions, the Epitome boasts a seven-speed manual gearbox from Xtrac. This gearbox is paired with an electronically controlled differential and a “racing style” tripod driveshaft, delivering power to the rear wheels and enabling a top speed of 217.5 mph.
The car’s unique features include C-shape LED daytime running lights, gold-surrounded headlight clusters, and aerodynamic enhancements like slashes in the front wheel arches and a simple, wide rear wing. The taillights are covered to reduce drag, while the suspension system has been upgraded for improved performance. The adaptive suspension can also switch to a “super soft” mode for better comfort on rough roads, automatically adjusting above 93 mph for optimal performance.
The Huayra Epitome also sports a six-way titanium exhaust system with four blue tips and two additional outlets in the diffuser for extra downforce. The car rides on seven-spoke wheels wrapped in Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R tires, enhancing its grip and stability.
While Pagani has not disclosed the cost of the Huayra Epitome, it is expected to be significantly higher than the base Huayra, which starts at over $3 million. The bespoke nature of the Epitome, combined with its advanced features and unique design, ensures that it is a masterpiece of automotive engineering and luxury.
The introduction of the Huayra Epitome underscores Pagani’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of automotive design and performance. This extraordinary vehicle not only offers a unique driving experience but also stands as a testament to the company’s dedication to innovation and craftsmanship in the world of hypercars.
