Pagani Utopia Painted With Moondust Spotted Ahead of U.S. Delivery

A Pagani Utopia painted in an ultra-exclusive “Moondust” finish has been spotted for the first time, hinting at the imminent delivery of one of the most unique hypercars ever commissioned.

The car, believed to be owned by American supercar collector Kris Singh, was seen partially covered at the Pagani factory in San Cesario sul Panaro. Though under wraps, glimpses of the shimmering white paint and an offset red-and-blue stripe running across the front of the car suggest this is no ordinary Utopia.

According to sources close to the collector, the Moondust paint was originally developed for Singh’s Aston Martin Valkyrie project, which he later canceled in favor of acquiring the Pagani Utopia. The finish, developed in collaboration with high-end paint specialist Karosserie, reportedly uses finely ground moon rock to achieve its one-of-a-kind sheen—an unprecedented level of customization, even in the world of seven-figure exotics.

The Utopia is the latest creation from Horacio Pagani and serves as the successor to the Huayra. Under the hood lies a 6.0-liter twin-turbocharged V12 developed by Mercedes-AMG, delivering a staggering 864 horsepower and 811 lb-ft of torque. Buyers can opt for either a 7-speed automated manual or a traditional gated H-pattern manual transmission—though it’s not yet known which Singh chose for his build.

The Moondust Utopia, reportedly a coupe, is expected to be delivered to Singh in Miami soon. Once it hits the streets, it will likely be one of the most photographed and talked-about Paganis in recent memory.

With Pagani producing only 99 units of the Utopia, each highly bespoke, Singh’s lunar-themed hypercar may already be the most visually and materially exclusive of them all.
