In a move that redefines luxury home decor, Argentinian racing driver Pablo Perez Companc turned a Pagani Zonda Revolucion into a dramatic room divider in his Miami apartment. The unconventional installation, completed with the help of a crane, transforms the hypercar into an artful centerpiece, blending automotive engineering with interior design.
The idea was born in 2018 when Companc collaborated with Pagani founder Horacio Pagani to create a unique home display. Together, they decided to elevate the Zonda Revolucion—a black chassis nicknamed “Black Minion”—from a mere car to a striking artistic statement. Using a crane, the car was carefully hoisted into Companc’s luxury condo and securely mounted as a centerpiece in his living room.
However, there’s more to the story. While it may seem sacrilegious to use such a rare hypercar as decor, Companc clarified on Instagram that the vehicle is not a functional Zonda Revolucion. Instead, it’s an empty chassis crafted specifically for artistic purposes. He assured followers that his fully operational Zonda Revolucion is still driven as intended, emphasizing, “Race cars are for driving.”
This isn’t the first time exotic cars have found their way into high-end living spaces. Similar feats include a McLaren Senna GTR installed in an Australian penthouse and a McLaren Elva lifted 48 stories in Seattle. Yet, Companc’s Zonda stands out for its seamless integration of form and function, bridging the worlds of motorsport and design.
A lifelong car enthusiast, Companc boasts an impressive collection that includes a Pagani Huayra, Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo Evo, Porsche 911 GT2 RS, and Dodge Demon. His decision to showcase a Zonda chassis at home reflects not only his passion for cars but also his appreciation for automotive artistry.
In turning the Pagani Zonda Revolucion into a living room centerpiece, Companc has created a bold and inspiring fusion of speed, style, and sophistication.
