Peralta S Supercar Debuts in Mexico, Fusing Italian Design with Maserati MC20 Power

A new chapter in coachbuilt Italian supercars was written on March 22 with the unveiling of the Peralta S, a stunning, wedge-shaped one-off designed by Fabrizio Giugiaro and developed by GFG Style. Presented at the Pastejé Automotive Invitational, Mexico’s most exclusive automotive event, the Peralta S wowed crowds with its radical lines and handcrafted precision.

Commissioned by Mexican collector Carlos Peralta, the namesake supercar represents GFG Style’s first fully bespoke vehicle built for a private client. Its unveiling was marked by the presence of both Fabrizio and the legendary Giorgetto Giugiaro, whose 1972 Maserati Boomerang served as the car’s primary inspiration.

Underpinning the Peralta S is a chassis reportedly sourced from the Maserati MC20, including its carbon-fiber monocoque and twin-turbocharged V6 engine. Though technical specifications have yet to be officially confirmed, the supercar’s form is as breathtaking as its presumed performance.

The body is crafted entirely by hand from aluminum and carbon fiber, finished in a mirror-like polish that flows into a seamless glass canopy. That canopy, which opens forward to allow cockpit access, is paired with gullwing-style side windows—both functional and theatrical. The wedge profile, sharply defined LED lighting, camera-based side mirrors, and dramatic rear wing evoke a retro-futuristic aesthetic while maintaining aerodynamic purpose.

Inside, the cockpit is tailored to Peralta’s tastes with bespoke materials and configurations, though GFG has yet to reveal full interior details. In the days following the debut, the company promised to share additional insights into the Peralta S via its social channels.

Only one will ever exist, and it’s destined to remain in Peralta’s private collection. But for one night in Mexico, the Peralta S captured the imagination of a global audience—blending the past, present, and future of Italian automotive art.
