After years of redefining electric performance and Italian design, Pininfarina is bringing its groundbreaking Battista hypercar era to a dramatic close. This week, the marque unveiled the final bespoke version of its all-electric masterpiece: the Battista Novantacinque, a stunning one-off tribute to 95 years of Italian automotive artistry.

Named for the Italian word for ninety-five, the Novantacinque honors both the company’s founding in 1930 by Battista “Pinin” Farina and the technological pinnacle that the Battista model represents. Debuting at an exhibition in Turin, this final iteration blends heritage with futuristic performance, sending off the Battista line in true collector-worthy fashion.

The Novantacinque is painted in Exposed Signature Carbon Tinted Rosso Gloss, a finish that radiates depth and intensity. A gold pinstripe adds subtle contrast, with “Novantacinque” elegantly scripted on the rear wing. Matching black wheels and brake calipers continue the theme of understated luxury, while the interior features a rich combination of leather and Alcantara, with exclusive black and gold accents. Even the floor mats and aluminum rotary controls are bespoke — a nod to the car’s singular status.

Underneath the artistry lies relentless performance. Like its siblings, the Novantacinque features four electric motors delivering a staggering 1,900 horsepower, enough to launch the hypercar from 0–60 mph in just 1.8 seconds. Despite its 5,247-pound curb weight, it reaches a top speed of 217 mph, making it not only one of the most powerful EVs in existence but also among the quickest ever made.

Only 150 Battistas are being built, each priced at over $2 million. While Pininfarina left a sliver of possibility for more unveilings, this is expected to be the final bespoke model — a capstone on a new era of luxury electrification. For collectors and enthusiasts, the Novantacinque may well become the definitive expression of Pininfarina’s modern legacy.
