Porsche has partnered with RM Sotheby’s to auction a rare and highly sought-after Porsche 911 S/T, with all proceeds benefiting the American Red Cross to support wildfire relief efforts in California.
The car up for auction is number 1,919 of the 1,963 vehicles built to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the Porsche 911. It is the only 911 S/T to be sold from PCNA’s internal vehicle pool and represents the final unassigned example available in the United States. The auction will be held exclusively on RM Sotheby’s online platform.
“The work of the American Red Cross has become even more critical as wildfires devastate communities across California,” said Timo Resch, President and CEO of PCNA. “By offering such a significant and rare vehicle, we hope to provide meaningful support to those affected.”
Since the fires began, the American Red Cross has provided over 14,500 overnight shelter stays, 128,000 meals, and more than 102,000 relief supplies, including face masks, flashlights, and water, to those in need.
Adding to the exclusivity of the auction, the winning bidder will receive a Porsche Design 911 S/T chronograph, a collector’s timepiece typically reserved for 911 S/T owners. The watch will feature an engraved chassis number matching the vehicle. Additionally, the package includes an owner’s manual pouch signed by Andreas Preuninger, Director of Porsche’s GT model line.
The 911 S/T is finished in Shore Blue Metallic with a Ceramica-colored wheel set, featuring heritage-inspired design elements and a 518-horsepower, naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six engine paired with a six-speed manual transmission. The vehicle also comes with the Heritage Design Package, Full Bucket Seats in Classic Cognac with black pinstripes, and exclusive Porsche Manufaktur touches.
