Porsche has confirmed it will unveil a new special-edition 911 in a matter of hours, teasing fans with a series of photos and details that hint at a blend of retro flair and modern performance.
The upcoming 2025 Porsche 911 Heritage Edition is expected to be based on the updated 992.2 generation and could arrive in either convertible or Targa body styles. The first images released by the automaker showcase a dark-colored exterior accented by metallic bonnet stripes, a nod to classic Porsche racing liveries.
Inside, the Heritage Edition offers an equally nostalgic touch. Photos reveal a cabin adorned in high-end leather with green checkered upholstery—reminiscent of interior options from early-era 911s. The vintage styling cues are paired with state-of-the-art technology, keeping in line with Porsche’s evolving identity.
Though Porsche has yet to confirm full technical specifications, sources close to the brand suggest the Heritage Edition could be built around the new Carrera GTS platform and feature the recently introduced T-Hybrid powertrain.
