Porsche is making waves with a unique addition to its storied 911 lineup: the one-off 911 Turbo Remastered. This bespoke model, crafted under Porsche’s exclusive Sonderwunsch program, pays tribute to a 1974 911 Turbo originally gifted to Louise Piëch, the daughter of Porsche founder Ferdinand Porsche. First revealed at the 2023 Icons of Porsche festival in Dubai, this special 911 captures the essence of its predecessor while embracing cutting-edge performance.
A collaboration between Style Porsche, Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur, and Porsche Middle East and Africa FZE, the 911 Turbo Remastered is coated in GT Silver and adorned with custom decals, including an Austrian autobahn emblem—a nod to Piëch’s homeland. The exterior is completed with black five-spoke wheels inspired by classic Fuchs alloys, preserving the car’s vintage aura with a modern touch.
The retro design continues inside. The two-tone Lipstick Red and black interior, along with tartan fabric seats, recalls Piëch’s original model. Green-illuminated dials and other classic elements evoke the spirit of the 1974 Turbo. Porsche Classic even revived the original Turbo script for the rear badge, emphasizing the model’s historic roots.
While the aesthetics are nostalgic, the performance is anything but old-fashioned. Under the hood lies a potent 3.7-liter twin-turbo six-cylinder engine, delivering over 570 horsepower. With a 0-60 mph time of just 2.8 seconds and a top speed close to 200 mph, the Turbo Remastered combines heritage with modern supercar speed. The car is in delivery-only condition with just 35 kilometers on the odometer, adding to its allure as a collector’s piece.
RM Sotheby’s will auction this rare 911 Turbo Remastered on November 20, with an expected price around $430,000. For Porsche collectors, this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to own a piece of the brand’s legacy, beautifully reimagined with the best of Porsche’s past and present.
